Technology: Corrugated Technology, MicroGel and Metallix
Head’s revolutionary Corrugated Technology hit the shelves in February 2009 with the brand new Head 115 CT.
By redesigning the shaft with corrugated rails, stiffness improves by up to 12% over conventional shaft designs. The result is a shaft that provides superior power, torsion, bending and handling on every stroke.
The Corrugated Technology complements existing Head technologies, Microgel and Metallix, to provides players with additional power and improve overall performance.
Performance on the Court
Factory strung with Head’s Evolution Pro 17 strings, the racquet plays very sharp with nice touch and control.
Very quick to the ball, it’s an ideal choice for fast courts.
A fantastic low weight racquet with great speed. Aggressive players will enjoy the added power of the Head 115 CT without having to sacrifice touch or control.
Karim Darwish, who became world number one in the PSA rankings in January said.
"I tested both these rackets (135 CT and 115 CT) and was very impressed with the feel and comfort. I have tested HEAD rackets in the past which emphasise totally on power and had far too much vibration and not enough touch to enhance the whole of my squash game. This is a breakthrough for HEAD in my opinion because these rackets were exceptionally comfortable to play with. There is no doubt that these were the most powerful rackets I have used so far, but with an added controlled touch which was very unexpected. The racket could take the pace off the ball for drop shots with precision or be wound up for attacking shots like a Jekyll and Hyde. If you enjoy aggressive squash or simply play lob and drop games these rackets will suit it all".
