Demo RacquetsRACQUET DEMO PROGRAMMEAt SportsTrade we realise that buying racquets online can be a bit of a trip into the unknown. Our demo programme is designed to take the guesswork out of selecting a new racquet by giving you the opportunity to test drive any of our demo racquets before you buy. What racquets can I demo?Scroll down for a list of demo racquets available. More racquets will be made available for the demo programme in the future. What do I need to do?Step one is to register your details on our website.Step two is to email us at info@sportstrade.co.nz, let us know which racquet(s) you would like to demo (up to 3 at a time), and when you would like them. We will contact you and let you know if the racquet(s) are available for that period of time. Once you’ve received confirmation that the racquets are available simply give us your credit card details (by phone 0800 125 996 or email info@sportstrade.co.nz) and we’ll charge you for the cost of shipping. Your credit card details will be retained for security over the racquet(s). What’s the bill?Shipping for the round trip is a measly $20. Unfortunately we do need to charge an extra $6 for anybody living at a rural delivery address. How long can I play-test them for?You can have them for up to seven days from the time they’re delivered free of charge. You can test them for longer if you wish but we do charge a fee of $5 for every day over the seven day limit. This is to ensure other customers have fair access to the racquets. How do I send them back? We’ll send you a prepaid courier ticket and address label for you to attach to the package. We suggest you retain the original packaging and reuse that to send them back. Simply call us for free on 0800 125 996 when it’s ready to collect and we’ll arrange our courier company to collect it from you. What if I return demos late?As mentioned above, we do charge a late fee of $5 for every day over the seven day limit. This is to ensure other customers have fair access to the racquets. If the racquets are more than seven days overdue we will charge your credit card for the full amount of the racquet(s).What if I damage the racquet(s)?We expect that people are considerate with our racquets and treat them with care so that the next customer can enjoy play-testing them as well. If racquet damage is caused by a manufacturing defect then we would not expect our customers to cover the cost of the racquet. However if damage is caused by misuse, abuse, or sudden deceleration into a solid object (hitting a squash wall, net posts, ground etc), then the full cost for the racquet will be charged to your credit card. Broken strings will be replaced at our expense. If you have any questions about our demo programme or racquets in general, please send us an email at info@sportstrade.co.nz
